I really do love capturing moments everyday... All it takes is one shot to tell a story about a person, or explain what was really on their mind. My true joy though isn't taking those pictures I have to say... It's editing them... adding color and life to that picture! I can make a picutre that most poeple would click.. "Delete" and turn it into a beautiful shot of them. A freeze frame of them that shows personality.
Thank you everyone who as stood on the other side of my camera! I know it hasn't been easy to put that smile on when I'm super close to your face! Thanks for your laughs and silly faces... I will always love them!
Statement of the day: I know talent when I see it. Over the past few years my friend, Lanette, has been taking my pictures. It started with school pictures and then, it became a gorgeous gift. She is now doing family pictures, engagement pictures, and every other category. The thing about these pictures is that they are not just a picture of a posed, smiling family or child, they are unique snapshots capturing personality, beauty, and life.
Lanette's style captured my attention right away, because it is exactly my vision. I have come to trust her completely. So, of course, when I wanted to get some pictures of outfits I have put together, I went to her.
From these pictures you will see that I was, once again, not disappointed. I am never surprised by the beauty of her pictures, but always reminded of joy, talent, beauty, love, and the life that can be captured through one young woman's camera and eye.
