Yesterday after getting home from watching Grace I had a hour or so to do nothing. Justin Smith asked me to edit some of his pictures by making them Black and White but keeping his dirtbike in color. After I was done with his I thought I would play around with the four-wheeler pictures and then did beans. After making my header awhile back I found this a lot of fun to do! I will probably try and work on some more later. But this is what I got done.

My Valentine

Today when I went over to Jasper's I was surprised to find flowers on the table! I asked Jasper right away who they were for... He told me they were for me! I have never gotten flowers from a boy before! I couldn't have been more excited! He asked to be my valentine... And I said yes!

We had a good day together with Betsy. First we headed to the Library to ride the elevator! And to play. And then ride the elevator..again! After that we rode in "Lanette's car" ( That's what Jasper calls it ) over to Mcdonalds, while we were there an older couple thought Jasper was my kid. Saying how cute he was and asked how old he was... I kinda looked at Betsy with a questioning look on my face asking... "how old is he?" I think they realized then he wasn't mine...

We then needed to drop movies off at Blockbuster! Betsy went in to take in the movies. Me and Jasper waited in the car and got bored so we decided that Jasper would help me pick out a new necklace from Maruices! When walking in I heard my name being called! At times I will hear my name in the air but it's always just me thinking that... but this time someone was calling my name... and then I heard "Nanny!"... ! The Zoll's were there! We all went in and shopped for a little bit. Jasper picked me out a heart necklace that I like. Not something I would pick out by myself... but knowing he picked it out means a lot :)

Grace :)

This is baby Grace. I will be watching her three days a week. Every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. I just started this week and am loving it! She is a very good baby. I get to spend from 8ish in the morning until 3 in the afternoon with her :) It was hard to leave her today knowing I wouldn't be back till next Tuesday! After spending all that time holding her and caring for her... It's hard to say bye! I can't wait to go back!

There will be more on grace to come... I'm hoping to take some better pictures of her has she gets older and when I get my new camera I will want to practice taking pictures with her :) But for now... This will have to do :)

The Fairy Effect

The lighting in these pictures remind me of a fairytale look. The glow is something you will see in all of the pictures I edit. It softens the face and adds a clearer look. I also add a Lord of the Rings lighting... at least that's what I think it looks like. Kind of a green tone to the picture.

The tree in the picture's adds a rusty affect that I really love. These girls are beautiful, it was a pretty easy day for pictures.

Before and After's

It's amazing what a before and after will show you. The before picture is just alright... It's cute. But you can see some redness on her face. And the whole picture just isn't that great. But then I added a glow, black and white and cleared up her face and the after is awesome! I love how great the picture looks. How much clearer the face is. It's a finished picture. I love these kind of turn outs. It makes me love what I do :)

Hands? Feet? And Shoes?!

Over the last year or two of taking pictures I have found myself looking down at peoples shoes and taking the picture... Then I get home and edit them... and love it! I don't know why? There is something cool about people's shoes. It says alot about the person.

Hands! Wow I love hands! I love how they can tell a story about the person. Some people don't have good hands... so when I see them I have to take a picture! Most of the time it's when I'm taking the picture of the persons face and I'll look down at thier hands... and It's awesome the way they are. I can't explain it... :)

Little hands... how adorable. Beans had her hands nicely placed on her knees while taking her picture. I couldn't help but take the picture.

I love the ice in this one. It's cold but the hands warm up the picture by the way he was folding them.

I know it's an odd thing to like people's feet or hands... but It's different and I love it :)

Pictures in the cold

So I really needed to take some pictures this last weekend. I have not had my camera out in the longest time. I really do hate winter ( Just putting that out there ) My reasons are simple. It's cold and it's no fun in the cold to take pictures. But like I said... I needed too. I was about to go crazy! Tyler said he didn't mind the cold. And would like to have a photo shoot. So I was standing outside Saturday asking myself what the heck am I doing out here?? It's too cold. LuckilyI got some cool shots of him riding around on his four wheeler and some with him by it. I'm thinking I want some like these in the summer time.... much warmer :)
